"Symphony on the Move" - The Jackson Symphony at the Princess Theatre
April 13th, 2022:
"Thursday evening, April 8, 2022, was a great night for the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, as the Jackson Symphony played to a near capacity crowd at the Princess Theatre. The Jackson Symphony began the "on the Move' 5 person ensemble as a result of COVID to get out in surrounding communities. This event would not have been possible without the support of Community Bank, Davis' Clothing, Helms Motor Company, FirstBank, and Tennessee Arts Commission. The event was originally scheduled to be held on the court lawn, however due to the cool temperatures and wind, it was move to The Princess Theatre, which seats approximately 250 people. "The Venue was full, with many commenting they couldn't wait for us to do it again," said Chamber Executive Director Melissa Gilbert. "To our knowledge, this was the first time The Jackson Symphony performed in Lexington."
